Edward M. Gaspa, 71
Edward M. Gaspa, 71, of Wareham, died September 5, in Tobey Hospital. He was the husband of Karen Kelley-Gaspa and the son of the late Edward and Eileen (Griswald) Gaspa.
He was born in Boston and lived in Wareham for many years.
Mr. Gaspa worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Raytheon Corporation for many years before retiring.
He was a member of the Wareham Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed traveling and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Kelley-Gaspa; 2 sons, Edward Gaspa and Michael Gaspa both of Seattle, WA; 2 daughters, Ann Marie Esposito of Sagamore and CherylAnn Gaspa of MI; 2 stepsons, Shawn McCoy of Bourne and William McCoy of Wareham; 5 stepdaughters, Donna Glass and Lori Richard both of Tucson, AZ, Jaime McCoy of Palm Bay, FL, Erin Presnell of Palm Bay, FL and Julie Young of KY; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
