Elvis and burgers at the Council on Aging

Aug 22, 2011

Elvis will be in the building on August 31. The Council on Aging is hosting Vic Solo, an impersonator, who will entertain guests with about an hour of the King's most popular songs.

The event starts at 1 p.m. and is free. No reservations are needed, but for the best seating organizers suggest arriving at 11:30 and enjoying lunch. Event goers can build-a-burger, with lettuce, and tomato. Chips, juice, carrot salad, and butterscotch pudding are also on the menu.

Pre-register for lunch at least two days previous with Cheryl by calling 508-291-3100 x6514. There is a suggested lunch donation of $2.50.

The Friends of Wareham's Elderly will be holding a 50/50 raffle and a door prize. The even will be held in the Multi-service Center, located at 48 Marion Road.
