Emergency preparedness forum to be held at library

Any resident who wants to know how the town handles disasters and emergencies should head to the Wareham Emergency Preparedness Forum on Tuesday, May 27 at 6 p.m. at the Wareham Public Library.
A panel of local Wareham officials will discuss what their departments and organizations do to plan for and prepare for emergencies of all kinds.
Panelists include the Wareham Public Schools Superintendent Kimberly Shaver-Hood and Lt. Walcek from the Wareham Police Department.
The event is sponsored by the Bourne-Wareham Kiwanis Club and is free and open to the public.
