Free/reduced price spaying and neutering offered to residents

The Animal Rescue League of Boston will provide a free/low cost Spay and Neuter program for Wareham residents at Petco on Dec. 30.

The Spay Waggin comes to Petco to provide spay and neuter and shots for feral and in-home cats.

The Animal Rescue League will provide traps to get feral cats treated,  spayed, and neutered and released back to their territory. The cost is free for feral or totally outdoor cats and $30 for indoor cats for low income families in Wareham. The fee for non-Wareham residents will be $75.

The Spay Waggin will be at Petco for dogs under 50 pounds on Dec. 22. The cost is $150. A special program is available for Pitt Bulls.
