High School students earn Advanced Placement awards

Wareham High School congratulated a number of students on achieving scores qualifying them for various Advanced Placement Scholar Awards. 

Advanced Placement classes are designed to challenge high school students with college-level content, and are followed by exams which many colleges and universities will accept for college credit. 

James Fitzgerald qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earring an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of three or higher on four or more of these exams. 

Six students qualified for an AP Scholar Award by scoring at least a three on at least three exams: Emma Arcaro, Keegan Cahill, Cooper Goodwin, Alexandre Lambert, Chatham Norcross, and Yan Rong. Yan Rong is a member of the class of 2020. 

An additional 27 students earned qualifying scores of three or higher on at least one AP exam this year.
