James A. White, 61

James A. White, 61, of E. Wareham, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 after a long battle at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.  He was the loving husband of Kelli J. Short-White.

Born in Brockton, MA, he was the son of the late John M. and Jean G. (Driscoll) White.  A graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1975. James was a member of the U.S. Air Force. He moved to Wareham in 1986.

Mr. White was a proud member of IUPAT D.C. 35 Local 1044 Glaziers.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching birds, and enjoying nature. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Bruins.

He is remembered by his loving wife, Kelli J. Short-White; his three sons, John M. White of Wareham, Anthony K. White of Norton, and Samuel P. White of Plymouth; his siblings, John (Jackie) M. White, Jr. of Providence, RI, Janet A. Joy of Pembroke, George A. White and Kristine Thompson both of Wareham, and Nancy J. Norton of Bridgewater.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 4 – 7 PM.  A prayer service will follow at 7:00 PM.
