The Middle School has awarded the Student of the Month honor to three students for the month of September.

Declan Neely is the Student of the Month for the fifth grade.

One teacher said Neely has been a "role model to his peers: by not only working hard in the classroom, but by having a kind and respectful" attitude toward others.

Larissa Ramos has achieved Student of the Month honors for the sixth grade.

Several teachers praised Ramos for coming into school everyday with a smile on her face and helping out other students.

"She comes in every day with a great attitude and not only does her best on her own work but works hard to help those around her," one teacher said.

Caleb Slack has been named Student of the Month for the seventh grade.

Many teachers praised Slack for his active participation in class and his dedication to doing well on his work.

"Caleb works hard in class and demonstrates extra class participation. He thinks of others
and makes good choices," said one teacher.
