New restaurant coming to Rosebrook
Another restaurant is coming to Rosebrook Place in West Wareham.
On Tuesday evening, the Board of Selectmen closed a public hearing and approved an application for a liquor license for a new Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub to be located at 40 Rosebrook Place.
The chain has more than 60 locations in Massachusetts, including one in East Wareham on Cranberry Highway.
Board member Alan Slavin said a modified plan for the restaurant was submitted to the Planning board and was approved at a previous date.
The Board approved the motion for the Annual Common Victualer All Alcoholic Beverages License unanimously, with no questions coming before representatives of the restaurant via the board.
There was no one present to speak against the applicant.
The restaurant is expected to open before May. The properties at Rosebrook Place are owned by A.D. Makepeace, one of the largest growers of cranberries in the world.
The property just off Route 28 by I-195 has seen the addition of a Five Guys Burgers and Fries Restaurant, as well as Rosebrook Wine and Spirits and the Marriott TownePlace Suites. A Saga Steakhouse is also coming to the property in November.
