Some folks in Wareham will be a little warmer this winter thanks to the Onset Bay Association and friends.

Recently, a coat drive initiated by the Onset Bay Association netted more than 100 winter coats, which were then given to the Church of the Nazarene. The new and slightly used coats will be distributed to anyone who may be in need of a warm coat.

Collection boxes were placed at Tarra Dean Studio and the Firehouse Cafe in Onset.

Many Onset and Wareham residents as well as employees of Eastern Bank donated to the coat drive.
