Raising $50,000 in five days is tough. This is the challenge the Wareham Tigers are faced with as they hope to play at nationals in Florida beginning Thursday, Dec. 5.

Luckily, local businesses throughout Wareham are raising money for the Tigers.

The Pier View Restaurant held a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Tuesday night for the Wareham Tigers B Squad to go to Florida. The dinner began at 5:00 p.m. and was $10.

The Onset Cape Verdean Festival Association donated and presented a check for $2,000 on Tuesday evening to the tigers. The association hopes other businesses will match its donation.
