The members of the Onset Youth Center organization invite all residents to a celebration on January 14 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Salerno’s Seaside Function Hall.

The Onset Youth Center has been around since the 1950s, and the organization is dedicated to reconstructing a center for the community’s youth to replace the one that was closed and ultimately demolished in the 1980s.

At the event, the organization will provide updates on the project’s progress, talk about the community-wide significance of the structure, and begin to outline what youth programs could potentially be offered once the building is completed.
