'Pet Food Pantry' has dog food for those in need

Feb 3, 2015

A Helping Paw's "Pet Food Pantry" has free dog food for pet owners in need.

With high utility costs in the colder weather, the Pet Food Pantry was started in 2002 to help loving pet owners who face financial struggles.

This program is provided in part by donors, Petco in Wareham and Hannaford's in Middleboro. Cat food is also available but supplies are running low.

Anyone wishing to donate or receive pet food can contact A Helping Paw in Wareham at 508-291-7297, stop in Friday or Saturday from 10 to 5 p.m. at 3086 Cranberry Hwy., East Wareham, or at www.ahelpingpaw.org.
