On Sunday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Onset Bay will become the world’s largest (and wettest) poker table during the Onset Bay Association’s annual Kayak Poker Run. 

The poker run’s original date of Saturday, June 17 was postponed due to inclement weather. 

Card sharks will meet at Shell Point Beach off South Boulevard and kayak around Onset Bay, building their poker hands by picking up cards at various stops along the bay. They will then return to shore and have the chance to exchange cards with each other for $2 per card. The best hand of the day wins, but prizes are given out in several categories. And since the game will conclude with a pizza party on the beach, everyone’s a winner!

All players must download, print and fill out a waiver. The waiver can be accessed at tinyurl.com/45wreuhn and must be brought to Shell Point Beach on the day of the event.
