The Polar Bear Dive will take place on Jan. 1, 2013, at 12 p.m. at the Onset Pier.

Brave participants will plunge into the water to raise money for the Onset Fire Department’s Box 5 Association, which helps local families in need.

Swimmers are encouraged to wear costumes. Participants must be registered by 10:30 a.m. Free food will be available at the Onset Fire Station after the swim.
