A masked male broke into a Wareham home on the evening of Friday, November 25, assaulting a resident with a handgun and stealing cash and jewelry, according to Wareham Police.

Wareham Police officers responded to Tobey Hospital at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday where the 30-year-old male victim reported the home invasion, which took place at his 13 Juniper Street home, according to a police statement.

The suspect left in a vehicle following the incident, according to police. Two other adults were at the residence at the time. They were uninjured.
