Richard “Tre” Hagopian, III, 21

WAREHAM – Richard J. “Tre” Hagopian, III, 21, of Wareham passed away on July 26, 2023, at home while surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born in New Bedford and lived in Wareham all his life. He graduated from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Bourne. 

He worked as an auto technician at Jannell Motors in Hanover. 

He was a member of the Boy Scouts and Young Marines. He played football with the Wareham Tigers and baseball with the Gateway Babe Ruth League. Tre was happiest when riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and many friends, including his two best friends, Jared Swiatek and Noah Tetrault, both of Wareham.

Survivors include his parents, Richard J. Hagopian, Jr. and Kristin A. M. (Monteiro) Hagopian of Wareham; his siblings, Ashley N. Hagopian of Plainfield, IL, Cristian J. Hagopian of Wareham and Jordann S. Hagopian of Wareham; his grandparents, Donna M. Hagopian-Barros of Palm Springs, CA, the late Richard Hagopian Sr. from Weymouth, Laura Monteiro of New Bedford and the late Robert Monteiro of New Bedford; his aunts, Siobhan Dowling of Wareham, Marissa Barros along with her husband (Tre’s Uncle) Jamison of Somerset; his uncle Greg Hagopian along with his wife Ashley from Bridgewater; Also survived by his niece Nova and many cousins. 

Visiting hours are from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations — WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.  His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2 at the funeral home.
