Richard J. Ouimet, 74, of Wareham, formerly of Brockton, died April 4 at Tobey Hospital. He was the widower of the late Vera L. (Litzen) Ouimet and the son of the late Emil R. and Yvonne (Myette) Ouimet.

He was born in Brockton and lived in Wareham for many years. He graduated from Brockton High School.

Mr. Ouimet was the owner of Ouimet Industries in Wareham.

He enjoyed boating and nature. Most of all he enjoyed his family.

Survivors include 2 sons, Jeffrey R. Ouimet and his wife Robyn of Douglas and Mark Ouimet and his wife Lori of Falmouth; a daughter, Jerolyn Ouimet and her husband Louis Zearo of Saratoga Springs, NY; 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Danielle Ouimet; nephews and nieces.

His funeral was held April 7. Burial followed in Agawam Cemetery.
