Robert Moses, 69
Robert E. Moses, 69, of Carver died Sunday, July 3 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was the husband of Michelle A. (Pritchard) Moses.
Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Ernest H. Moses and Esther (Hermann) Cunningham and step-son of the late Elden Cunningham. Mr. Moses worked as a carpenter and was the co-owner of B & B Remodeling of Bourne.
During the Vietnam War, Mr. Moses served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969 and was stationed aboard the USS Newport News (CA-148). He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of Harley Owners Group Cape Cod Chapter and The Islanders motorcycle clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle A. Moses; his children, Jennifer M. Moses of Cotuit, Rebecca A. Moses of Hawaii, Nicole R. Moses of Bourne and Sean R. Moses of Columbus, Georgia; his sister, Ruth Allen and her husband Richard of Halifax, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Kylie, Avery, Olivia, Nevin, Masen, Ariana, Isabella, Newah, many nieces and nephews and his best friend and business partner, Robert Cavallo. He was predeceased by his son, the late Eric R. Moses.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at noon. Interment will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours will be on Monday July 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
