Ruth Robinson of Wareham passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the age of 82 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Ruth was born on March 14, 1939 in Natick, MA, to the late Douglas and Dorothy (Livingston) Tibbets. She was a graduate of Westboro High School, raised her family in Westboro, and retired to Wareham in 2001. 

She enjoyed collecting things, whether it was Hummels, lighthouses, or Christmas ornaments. Ruth, a devoted and supportive “Nana,” and Harold spent many years attending all their grandchildren’s school and sporting events. 

Ruth is survived by her husband, Harold, of 59 years, her son Daniel Robinson and his wife Bernadette of Bourne, and her granddaughters, Brittany Robinson of Wilmington, North Carolina and Brooke Robinson of Rochester, New Hampshire, as well as her sister Dorothy and many nieces and nephews. 

Memorial visiting hours will be held at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rt. 28), Wareham on Sunday, February 27th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. with friends and family invited to stay and share memories from 3:30 to 4 p.m.
