On Saturday, Feb. 1, everyone who loves public libraries is invited to attend the fourth annual “Love Your Library Rally” at the Wareham Free Library.

The main goal of the rally is to promote support for increased state and local funding for public libraries in Massachusetts. State aid to public libraries helps local communities and local libraries improve library service for residents across the state.

This year, the rally will feature guest readers, music, local talent including Showstoppers and more.

Refreshments will be provided. The library invites everyone to the event, and wants to know why public libraries matter to them.

The library is located at 59 Marion rd. in Wareham. The rally will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Participants are invited to stop in for a few minutes or stay for the whole event.
