Selectman Alan Slavin suggested banning sales of nip bottles of alcohol at liquor stores in Wareham to cut down on litter.

On Tuesday night, Slavin presented nine bottles of 50 ml Fireball Cinnamon Whisky bottles, also known as nip bottles.

"These bottles were found in front of the Multi-Service Center, where parents and students go for the school issues,” Slavin said. “It is crazy to think that someone could be drinking this much. We have got to find a way to stop this, this is getting out of hand."
