Two arrested after alleged incident involving baseball bat, pepper spray

Two Wareham men were arrested on June 16 after a reported altercation with another group of men on Station Street near the conservation area.

According to police, a vehicle was damaged by a baseball bat in the incident, and one man was pepper sprayed. 

By the time police arrived on the scene, everyone involved in the altercation had left, but suspects Hector Flores and Tyler Noe, both 19, were found later that night.

Officers pulled the two men over around 8:45 p.m. on Cranberry Highway. During the traffic stop officers located and confiscated a digital scale, over $3,000 in cash, and a baseball bat in the vehicle. 

Flores is charged with vandalizing property and violation of a harassment prevention order.

Noe is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
