Wareham Middle School names students of the month
With Janurary on its way out, Wareham Middle School is recognizing three standout students.
Fifth grader Wyatt DeCosta is praised by his teachers for his kindness, positive attitude and sense of humor in and out of the classroom.
"Wyatt is a kind, helpful young boy. He tries his best all the time. If a classmate needs assistants he is always willing to help them. He tries his best even when things are hard or challenging,” one teacher wrote.
For the sixth grade, polite and witty according to his educators, Matthew Martin is known for his particpation in his coursework.
“Matthew Martin is an outstanding member of my STEAM class. Matthew works hard on all assignments and challenges and always puts forth his best effort. He thinks outside the box and will often try or design solutions that are unique. He always enters the room with a smile and makes the classroom a better place," a teacher wrote.
Helena Roux is the student of the month for seventh grade. Highlighted for her creativty and work ethic, Helena has been known to make her peers smile and laugh during class.
"Helena personifies every quality you would want in a student," one teacher wrote. "She is hardworking, focused, well behaved and kind. She is a role model amongst her peers, and a leader in how she conducts herself.”
The middle school names a student of the month from each grade level every month during the school year.
