A man reportedly involved in an assault at the Cumberland Farms on Depot Street has been taken into custody by Wareham Police.

The identity of the suspect, seen here in a black Nike hat, has not been released. Police say they are no longer looking for the two men who were with the suspect at the time of the incident.

Police say the aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

Police first sought the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a Facebook post made on Dec. 5.

“Thanks to any and all for assistance identifying and locating this person,” officials said.
