Wareham Police: New Bedford woman pulled gun after argument

Wareham Police arrested a 21-year-old New Bedford woman on Jan. 16 after she allegedly pulled a gun on a man after an argument.
Police say the incident took place around 7:15 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the Woods at Wareham. According to reports, the woman, Alyssa Sinclair, fled the scene in a black SUV before police arrived.
Officers James White and Garrett Smith found the SUV a short while later, parked on the side of Swifts Beach Road.
After an investigation, officers determined that Sinclair was carrying a loaded firearm, according to authorities. She was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm without a permit.
