This year, 24 students joined the event alongside other local schools in Marion for a day full of athletics and connection. One Tabor Academy student-athlete was paired with one student for the event and rotated through various sports stations.
Special education teacher at Wareham Middle school said it was an amazing experience for everyone.
"It was nice to see so many families come to cheer on their student as well as the other students," said Costa.
Superintendent Matthew D’Andrea said he was grateful for Tabor Academy and the Special Olympics for continuing to host the game day.
"This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage with peers from other communities in an uplifting and empowering environment," said D’Andrea.
