R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to Minot Forest Elementary
Minot Forest Elementary School has a new motto: Respect, Responsibility & Kindness… or R.R.K.! R.R.K. will help children become more respectful, more responsible, and perform even more great acts of kindness.
Students recently signed a contract pledging to have respect, responsibility, and kindness on their minds. For the month of October, the word will be "Respect: To treat others the way you would expect to be treated.” All the students of the week for the month of October must be very respectful!
Also throughout October, when students are seen being respectful, their names will be posted in the bus lobby for all to see. (Minot Forest staff-members are sure there will be lots of names!)
Mr. Gately’s fifth grade class even created a song for R.R.K., and students performed it over announcements right before signing the contract. A round of applause goes out to Mr. Gately’s Class for a job well done! Minot Forest music teacher Mrs. Tansey will teach the song to the entire school.
