The Wareham Youth Soccer Travel Team tryouts will be held Oct. 23.

Tryouts will be held at the John W. Decas Elementary School. Boys and Girls from grades 8 through 12 will have tryouts from 1 to 2 p.m. All those from grades 2 through 7 will have tryouts from 2 to 3 p.m.

Arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in. All players under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Come dressed for soccer and bring a soccer ball and water.

Spring travel teams are affiliated with the South Coast Soccer League of Massachusetts. The travel soccer season begins in March and concludes in June. Each team plays an eight game schedule, four away games and four home games.

The home games are played at Minot Forest Elementary School and Decas Elementary School. All games are played on the weekends.

If selected, the cost of participation is $100 plus a $30 uniform fee. Payment is due at registration.
