One person was seriously injured in a car accident that occurred on I-495 Thursday afternoon.
According to emergency broadcasts, CPR was performed on the victim who was taken to Tobey Hospital.
The crash took place in the southbound lane between exits 1 and 2. The car crashed into a wooded area in the median of the highway.
The victim’s status is currently unknown. State Police are investigating.
