Monica (Harrigan) Dexter, 48, of Wareham, died Feb. 23 unexpectedly. She was the daughter of Joseph and MaryAnn Adams both of Wareham.

Born in Stoughton, she was raised in Wareham and graduated from Wareham High School. Monica worked for many years as manager for Spencer’s Gifts, and most recently was employed as a personal care attendant for Anodyne Health Services.

Monica enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, who very much loved their Auntie “Bunny.” She will be truly missed by many.

Survivors include her parents; her daughter, Alexandra Dexter; her sister Stacey L. Adams and her brothers Thomas Harrigan and Christopher Carchia all of Wareham. She was predeceased by her brother, the late John L. Harrigan.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28), Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
