Onset Bay Association welcomes community into new office
The Onset Bay Association's new office space was full of excitement on Friday night as members and the public celebrated the move during an open house.
The Onset Bay Association moved to 196 Onset Ave. at the beginning of January to increase visibility and have a space that better suited the group's needs. The new office is also handicap accessible.
The space provides a "living, breathing, working office," said Onset Bay Association President Kat Jones.
"I love it here, it's a great space," she said.
Jones said she's been getting a lot done in the new office and many people stopped by wanting to get involved since the office is now in a more visible location.
"What we're doing, it's all positive," Jones said.
Being in the new office has made a difference to the association, said CFO Linda Hannon.
"We have room to grow here," Hannon said. She is teaching a personal finance class in the office this year.
"We want there to be something here every day," she said.
The office is open during its regular hours, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office is open by appointment as well. Call Jones at 508-725-2657 to schedule a time.
