The threat of evening thunderstorms on Saturday postponed the Onset-Wareham fireworks display until Sunday, but the bands played on at the Band Shell.

It was Christmas in July as the Rock 4 XMAS Foundation, founded by Wareham native Wayne Morrison and Stet Howland in 1996, hosted the Cars, Guitars, and Motorcycles show. Organizers were prepared to continue the tunes until 4 p.m. or until inclement weather hit, whichever came first.

The foundation invited the community to bring toys and nonperishable food donations to the free concert. Those items will then be donated to local families in need during the upcoming holiday season.
