The Onset Bay Center has a new fleet of three boats that need names, and to decide, they are asking the public to vote via Facebook.

The fleet consists of a restored 1965 Boston Whaler and two new rigid inflatables. The boats will be used for on-the-water programming in Onset this summer.

The center has come up with three themed sets of names, inspired by birds (tern, sandpiper, and osprey), shellfish (oyster, quahog, and scallop), and mythical nautical figures (Siren, Poseidon, and Kraken).
