It's bags to riches for the high school

Have helping the environment and schools in the bag.

Community members can support Wareham High School while making an environmentally friendly choice this May through the reusable bag program at Shaw’s.

Throughout the month of May, every purchase of a $3 reusable “Give Back” bag will generate a $1 donation to the school. The initiative provides a way for residents to contribute to a local organization while reducing reliance on single-use plastic bags.

Beginning May 1, shoppers can purchase the reusable bags at the Wareham Shaw’s location at 127 Marion Road. Funds raised from each bag sold will directly benefit the high school and support its work in the community.

Residents are encouraged to participate by purchasing one or more bags during the month.
