A 21-year-old man was found dead in the area behind Walmart in East Wareham just after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Wareham Police.

Police said Steven Elliott was from Stoughton, but had been living in the Wareham area.

Police confirmed that there were some cans of "Dust-Off" in the area, but there is no official cause of death, and the matter is under investigation.

"It takes a certain amount of time,"  to determine a cause of death according to Lt. Kevin Walsh.

Walsh added that with toxicology reports to do, it could be a couple of weeks before a definitive cause of death is established.

Dust-Off is a product used to clean computer keyboards, but some people use the product illegally as an inhalant.
