Marilyn A. Johnson (Hallquist)  12/24/1934-07/14/2024

Passed away after a lengthy illness at 89 years in Venice, Fl.  She was born in Brockton MA and graduated from Brockton High in 1953. Married to Russell A. Johnson of Brockton he preceded her in death  They lived in the Northeast for many years,  Headed to Florida as a snowbirds for many years  where she settled full time in Venice, Fl. She worked many years for Walmart, which she loved. She loved talking and interacting with people. She was a volunteer for Goddard Hospital and was a Gridiron Football supporter for her sons High School. She was very much  into politics and volunteered for elections. She was a member of the VFW of Bourne, Ma., Eagles of Sarasota and the Moose of Venice, Fl. She loved to shop and decorate her homes. She loved Patriots football especially watching every game  with her family and friends and loved Tom Brady.

Marilyn was a mother, wife, sister, in-law, cousin, friend and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her sisters are Shirley Farrell of W Bridgewater, Ma. And Elaine Coe of Pocasset, Ma. Her brothers Richard Hallquist and Robert Hallquist  preceded her in death along with her parents Sven Gunnar Hallquist and Esther Hallquist. She is a mother to Debra Johnson and( Jim Carney) of Hernando, FL.,  Scott and ( Sandy ) Johnson of Brockton, Bruce of Hopkington , Kimberly Murphy and (Tommy Pierce) of Venice, Fl and  Erick Johnson  of Tampa, Fl.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Bethany Salvator. Her other grandchildren are Joseph, Jennifer, Michael, Kylie, Krystin, Cole, Ciara and Chloe. Her bonus grands are Will and Adam. She has 12 great grandchildren.

We will have a private celebration of her life . She will be missed.
