Miriam (Hunt) Wynot, 87, of Bourne, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away at the Royal Cape Cod Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday January 1, 2011.

Miriam was born in Framingham, the daughter of the late Archie C. and Francena A. (Towle) Hunt. She attended Hopkinton & Holliston Public Schools, Framingham State College, and Bryant Stratton Business School in Boston.

She worked for many years as a secretary in the banking industry and retired from Northeastern University in Boston. Miriam enjoyed her family, friends, reading gardening and golfing.

She is survived by her two sons, Bruce C. Wynot and his wife Sheryl, of East Wareham, and Douglas H. Wynot and his wife, Bryna, of Brighton, MA. She is the sister of Arlene Shepard of Bourne and is also survived by six grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many loving relatives and friends.
