Onset Blues Festival draws hundreds
The Onset Bay Association’s 19th annual Blues Festival brought quite a crowd to the Band Shell in Onset on Saturday, August 6.
“We sold a lot more tickets than we normally do. I'd say we have 400 people here,” said Onset Bay Association member Diane Vance on Saturday afternoon as attendees continued to purchase tickets and enter the show. “We never have this many people. ... I am so pleased.”
The event was full of food, fun, and music. Nine blues acts provided concert-goers with eight hours of entertainment.
Performers included the Gil Correia Band, James Montgomery, Professor Harp, Rosemary’s Baby Blues Band, Peter Parcek, Erin Harp, the Luke Mulholland Band, Charlie Ferrin, Jon Butcher, Kid Bangham, and Sugar Ray.
