Pour Farm Tavern opens Wareham location
The Pour Farm Tavern’s Wareham Main Street location is officially open for business after 10 months of work.
“We are so excited to bring great craft beer and all the breweries we work with to Wareham,” co-owner Jen Mchugh-Cardoza said.
The New Bedford based restaurant opened its new location Monday, Jan. 19 at 196 Main Street, the location of the former Scarlet Rose which closed in 2024.
“We work really hard to get exclusive beers so we’re going to have beers not a lot of other bars get,” she said. “We’re going to give the same casual feel that you get in our New Bedford location.”
Mchugh-Cardoza said the physical Wareham location differs slightly from the New Bedford one because it is smaller, but has more seating compared to their 100-year-old building in New Bedford.
“But we’re going to operate it the same way, meaning that we want people to just come in and relax,” she said.
Through the first hour of operation, Mchugh-Cardoza said opening day was going well.
“We had some friends here this weekend so that the staff could train, pour some beers and kind of feel the flow and once we got this place full of people it came to life,” she said.
