Ronsel D. Hathaway, Jr., 70
Wilton – Ronsel D. Hathaway, Jr., 70, of Wilton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 14th at his home due to a medical event.
He was born September 13, 1955, in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Ronsel D. Hathaway, Sr. and Joan (Bryant) Hathaway.
Ron attended school in South Boston.
On March 31, 1979, in Boston, he married Debbie Smith of Livermore Falls.
He worked as a farmer and cranberry grower for AD Makepeace.
Ron was a member of the Red Men’s Club, was an avid New England Patriot fan, coached little league baseball, and enjoyed fishing, traveling, cruises, and working on his woodpile.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Hathaway of Wilton, daughters, Kathleen Pinkston and husband Jim of Wareham, MA., Kelly Hall and husband James of San Antonio, TX., and Karen Floyd and husband Michael of Plymouth, MA., and his son, Ronzel Hathaway of Wilton, grandchildren, Madison, Laura, Mathew, Jacob, Riley, Mickey and Josie, great-grandson, Waylon, his brother, Russell Hathaway of Boston, sisters, Shirley Paylor and husband Barry of Plymouth, MA., and Peggy Sarro and husband Gerald of Plympton, MA., sister-in-law, Christine Hathaway of Wareham, MA., many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Roberta Hathaway and brothers, Joseph and Michael Hathaway.
