Mighty meats
Make no mis-steak and head down to Redmen Hall. Redmen Hall at 745 Main Street will be hosting their monthly meat raffle Friday, Jan. 9 at 6 p.m.
The raffle is open to the public with meatloaf dinner for $10 served at 6:30 p.m. The raffle will begin at 7 p.m. Questions? Contact the hall at 508-291-0882.
Dancing Queen
Step into a dance event at the Dudley Brown VFW.
Dancing lessons will be held at the VFW at 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road Friday, Jan. 9 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Paula and guest instructor Lestyn will be teaching line and partner dances with music, drinks and food. For more information contact 1-508-273-7116.

Tuesdays are trail days
The cold is snow problem, winter never stopped any nature lovers.
Join the Wareham Land Trust to help trim back overgrown trails Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Red Brook Trail Network. Participants will meet at the Onset Water District, located on Sand Pond Road.
Water, sun screen, bug spray and appropriate woods and winter attire is encouraged. Participants are encouraged to bring their own work gloves for the event. The land trust will provide tools but guests are invited to bring their own loppers, clippers and shears.
The event is free but guests should visit warehamlandtrust.org to register.
