Sept. 1 is primary election day. Here is the information you need to know before going to the polls.

Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Voters who enter the line before 8 p.m. will still be able to vote after polls close.
Wareham has three polling locations for primary elections. Voters in Precincts 1 and 6 will vote at Wareham Town Hall, 54 Marion Road. Voters in Precincts 4 and 5 will vote at Redman Hall, 745 Main St. Voters in Precincts 2 and 3 will vote at Ethel E. Hammond School, 13 Highland Ave.

When registered voters arrive at the polling location, they’ll get ballots for the party they’re registered with. Voters who aren’t registered with a party can choose either ballot.
Voters do not need to bring ID, but it will make the check-in process easier if they do bring a form of ID. Call the Clerks Office with questions or for more information at (508) 291-3140.
