Local first responders — including Wareham and Onset Firefighters, Wareham Police, and Wareham EMS — will receive the second dose of the covid-19 vaccine in Marion on Feb. 10 and Feb. 11.

Wareham first responders received their first dose of Moderna’s covid-19 vaccine — which must be administered in a series of two shots, 28 days apart — at a drive-thru first responder clinic in Marion on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14.

The first-responder clinic in Marion served police, firefighters and emergency medical personnel from Wareham, Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester.

The Wareham Fire Department shared that it was time for the second dose of the vaccine on Facebook and added “feeling excited” to its online status.
