Wareham residents invited to retire worn U.S. flags

Residents who have worn or damaged U.S. flags that are no longer suitable for display may drop them off for proper ceremonial retirement through June 11.

Flags may be delivered during school hours to the main office at Wareham High School, 7 Viking Drive. Residents also may place flags in the red, white and blue collection boxes located outside the school's side and rear entrances.

Collected flags will be retired in accordance with established flag retirement protocols.
