A truck plowing snow on Agawam Lake Shore Drive Thursday night was engulfed in flames as a massive storm was ending.

The Wareham Fire Department responded at 7:17 p.m. to the blaze. It destroyed a truck being operated by a private contractor who was plowing for the Town of Wareham.

Wareham Fire Captain Michael Bird said no one was injured and that it’s unclear at this time how the fire started. Firefighters had the blaze knocked down by 7:30 p.m.
