Appraisals available at 'What's It Worth' on Sept. 9

Aug 31, 2017

The First Congregational Church will host “What’s It Worth?”, an antiques appraisal event, on Sept. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the church, located at 11 Gibbs Ave.

The event, inspired by PBS’s “Antiques Roadshow,” features certified appraisers from Eldred’s Auctions who will be on hand to meet with the public for individual discussions and appraisals of antiques and family heirlooms. Participants may bring up to three items for appraisal. The fee is $5 per item. For large pieces, bring in a photograph of the item for appraisal.

Funds raised will benefit the church’s Mustard Seed Projects, a capital campaign to help restore the church. For more information, call 508-295-1630.
