The Trey Strong Organization will host the Trey Run on July 1.

The run, which was originally scheduled for June 24, is held in memory of Trey Miranda. Trey was an Onset teenager who died of brain cancer just before his 18th birthday in 2016.

Proceeds from last year’s run helped the Trey Strong Organization to purchase 200 backpacks filled with supplies for students in need. The funds also awarded six, $250 scholarships to Wareham High School students.

The Trey Run will start and end at the Dudley L. Brown VFW in Onset. Ride registration starts at 9 a.m.

Kickstands go up at 11 a.m. For those who wish to attend but not ride, doors for the event will open at noon. Tickets cost $20. After the run, there will be a bike and car show with a $100 cash prize.
