The WAREHAM SCHOOL COMMITTEE will conduct A PUBLIC HEARING on the 2026-2027 Preliminary Budget of the Wareham Public Schools on Thursday December 4, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multiservice Center, 48 Marion Rd, Room 520, in accordance with Chapter 71, Section 38N of the General Laws of Massachusetts. The public is welcome.

The Select Board of the Town of Wareham, as the Cable Television License Issuing Authority, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 7:15 P.M., at the Wareham Multi-Service Center (Room 520), 48 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571, regarding the renewal of the cable television license of Comcast Cable Communications Management, LLC (formerly Comcast of Massachusetts I, Inc.). Information regarding remote participation will be available on the Select Board’s meeting agenda published on the Town’s website at least 48 hours prior to the meeting or by contacting the Select Board’s office.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to pose questions about and/or comment on a proposed Cable Renewal License Renewal, as may be updated, to be considered and/or voted upon by the Select Board.
The hearing is being held pursuant to Section 626(h) of the Cable Act (47 USC Section 546(h)) (informal cable licensing renewal process), the Massachusetts Cable Law (M.G.L. c. 166A, sec. 13), the regulations of the Massachusetts Dept. of Telecommunications and Cable (207 C.M.R 3.05) and any other applicable laws, regulations and/or requirements.
A copy of the proposed Cable Television Renewal License, and relevant applications, reports, statements and/or amendment (if any), in the possession of the Town to be considered at the hearing, will be available for review and reproduction at and from the Office of the Select Board, Memorial Town Hall, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA during regular town hall hours, on the Town of Wareham website: www.wareham.gov and as additionally may be made available.
