Residents were all smiles during the parade. The Swifts Beach Improvement Association held its annual Fourth of July parade to get the neighborhood into the patriotic spirit. Residents, pets, bikes and golf carts were dressed up in red, white and blue as they gathered on the morning of Saturday, July 4 for the neighborhood parade.
According to resident Christy Patalano, each parade participant received a freeze pop at the end of the parade amid the hot, sunny weather. The association awarded prizes to the "best dressed" children for each age group.
